Engineer, U.S. Navy veteran, and Baltimore native. Selected as a NASA astronaut in 2009. Flew as Flight Engineer on Expedition 40/41 (2014), including spacewalks and hundreds of experiments. Later served as Chief of the Astronaut Office. Commanded Artemis II — NASA’s first crewed Artemis flight.

Test pilot and engineer. Pilot and second-in-command on SpaceX Crew-1, then lived and worked aboard the ISS. As Artemis II pilot he helped operate Orion systems in deep space — and became the first Black astronaut to fly around the Moon.

Engineer and experienced ISS astronaut. Held the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman (328 days) and took part in the first all-female spacewalk. On Artemis II she served as mission specialist and became the first woman to fly around the Moon.

Canada’s astronaut on the crew — the first Canadian to fly around the Moon.

Former fighter pilot and Royal Canadian Air Force member. Selected as a CSA astronaut in 2009; worked as CAPCOM in Houston and led a NASA astronaut class. Artemis II was his first spaceflight and made him the first Canadian — and first non-American — to take part in a lunar mission (CSA).
